Goth Mofu Live2D Model
Messing around with Live2D models is fun, so I thought it'd be fun to give everyone a free model to play with for Christmas! Yeah!!!
It's a big tiddy goth GF. With optional fluffy fox bits, and four colour schemes. You're welcome.
- You may use this model for streaming or videos or whatever. I'd appreciate some kind of credit and a link to this page if it's used in a monetized capacity.
- You may edit the model's textures. (there are alternate textures, including uncoloured lineart, to make this easier)
- You may not redistribute or re-sell this model.
- I doubt it'll happen, but just in case: You may not sell merchandise of this model or design without my permission.
This model is configured for use with VTube Studio, which is available on Steam as well as Android and IOS through their respective App stores.
VTube Studio has a free watermarked version on all platforms, and I'd recommend downloading the model for free and trying it out in the free version to see if you like it before paying for anything.
To use the model, you will need to put the unzipped GothL2D folder into your Steam\steamapps\common\VTube Studio\VTube Studio_Data\StreamingAssets\Live2DModels folder for the Steam version of Vtube Studio, or the equivalent on mobile - the app will tell you where to put things if you hit the "add a model" button.
To change the model's colour scheme, you will need to go into the GothL2D.2048 folder and replace texture_00.png and texture_01.png with one of the other texture sets in the named folders. For example; to use the Strawberry colour scheme, you'd need to overwrite texture_00.png and texture_01.png in GothL2D.2048 with texture_00.png and texture_01.png from the Strawberry Folder.
The model has a single hotkey/toggle, to hide the fox ears and tail. It is disabled by default, but it can be enabled in the Hotkey settings menu, which is found by clicking the Pink Gear button to get to Settings, going to the fourth tab at the top of the screen (the movie clapper board icon with a play symbol on it), and clicking/tapping the red "OFF" button next to "Remove Ears and Tail" to set it to "ON".
On Steam, the hotkey is toggled by pressing '1' on your keyboard - you can change this to a different key in the hotkey menu. On Mobile, you will need to Enable Screen Button Hotkeys up at the top of the Hotkey Settings menu, and select one of the eight Screen Button Hotkeys at the bottom of the Remove Ears and Tail hotkey entry. This will add a button on the main screen of the app that toggles the hotkey when tapped.
Everything else on the model works off of the normal face tracking stuff, and all of that should work fine without any extra setup.
The default versions of this model should comply with the outfit rules of most streaming platforms, but I take no responsibility or blame if it does violate any platform rules. This applies even moreso if the model has edited textures.
Merry Christmas!
